Code Cadets AI Academy · by ZorpCode

A clear path from curiosity to creation.

Our vision is a growing coding academy for ages 6–18. Today’s available lessons are the Book 1 beginner foundations, designed for ages 6–9. More advanced learning tracks for older kids and teens are planned.

Age guidance is a starting point. Reading, typing confidence and previous experience matter. A full curriculum for every age from 6 to 18 is not available yet.

Book 1: Cadet Foundations

Build a program, follow the result and improve your next attempt. The existing Book 1 journey introduces sequencing, relative movement, debugging, loops, decisions and first steps with simulated Python commands.

Who it is for

Designed for ages 6–9. Grown-up help may be useful with reading, directions and typing. No coding experience is required.

What learners practice

Plan an ordered solution, predict movement, spot a bug, use repeats and conditions, and explain a simple result.

Effort and progression

Eight missions in order; Mission 7 has six challenges and Mission 8 has three stages. Take breaks and replay freely. Session times have not been measured.

  1. Mission 1: Crater FieldLearn how to place commands in the right order so every rover step makes sense.
  2. Mission 2: Signal Relay RidgePractice movement and turns to guide signals across rocky Martian ridges.
  3. Mission 3: Repair RoboSpot broken instructions and fix them so the helper robot can get moving again.
  4. Mission 4: Meteor PatrolUse repeat patterns to patrol faster and keep the mission path tidy.
  5. Mission 5: Alien DoorChoose between actions with IF and ELSE to open the right path.
  6. Mission 6: Martian Command CenterCombine earlier skills and look for smarter, cleaner command paths.
  7. Mission 7: First Python TransmissionMeet beginner Python structure and the first ZorpCode movement functions.
  8. Mission 8: Spaceship RescueComplete a three-stage rescue by combining everything from Book 1.

Mission 1 is free without an account. Missions 2–8 are closed during prelaunch; their existing URLs and QR destinations show a Coming Soon page. Previously earned progress and rewards are preserved. Membership enrollment and payments remain closed.

Book 1’s Python activities use a small, safe command simulation. They are an introduction, not a full Python programming course. The companion workbook’s reviewed Membership Edition is not yet released.

Mars Base: The Missing Power Core

Five connected chapters and ten checkpoints follow a missing power core through a base-wide rescue. The adventure is built and protected. It is not publicly playable or available to purchase.

Readiness and learning

A beginner follow-on for learners comfortable with Book 1’s instructions and short code edits. Practice sequencing, loops, conditions, debugging and beginner Python transmissions. A separate age range has not been validated.

Effort and rewards

Two checkpoints per chapter, with three hints each. Adventure XP is separate from Book 1. Completing all ten earns Mars Base Hero and its certificate. Session-time estimates await learner testing.

  1. Chapter 1: The Blackout — sequencing
  2. Chapter 2: Security Lockdown — conditions and loops
  3. Chapter 3: Robo’s Secret Message — debugging
  4. Chapter 4: The Hidden Power Vault — beginner Python
  5. Chapter 5: Save Mars Base — combined coding and rescue

Python Space Lab: Signal Station

A follow-on to Book 1 and Mars Base: three lessons and an original final project, across seven checkpoints. Write a transmission, respond to sensors and repeat a signal. Built for private testing; not publicly playable or available to purchase.

  1. First Transmission: variables, strings and print().
  2. Emergency Decisions: comparisons and if / elif / else.
  3. Repeat the Signal: for loops and range().
  4. Final project: build, customize, test and export your own Signal Station.

Recommended preparation: comfortable reading short instructions, typing and changing code after the beginner adventures. Age guidance and session times await learner testing. Older or faster learners have optional extra challenges.

Uses actual Python syntax in a limited educational interpreter, not full CPython. No imports, network or file access. Separate Python Space Lab XP and a Signal Station Creator certificate preserve Book 1 and Mars Base rewards.

Enrollment and payments remain closed. No release date has been announced.
